It’s set against a backdrop of political and economic instability in the united states. So, in case you are one of those, follow the methods given below:

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-4430 or similar
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 2GB or higher
  • P-SHADER: 5.1

Fix 1: Reboot The Device

If not, then reboot your system. Well, not just reboot; you must power cycle your PC. To do so:

  • Shut down your PC and plug out all the cables.
  • Wait for at least 30 seconds and plug the cables correctly.
  • Simply boot up your system and run the game to check if the FPS drop issue gets fixed or not.

Fix 2: Close Unnecessary Tasks

Most of the time, we ignore this, but at last, this comes up as the main culprit for this kind of error. Previously many users reported that this fix helped them to resolve the FPS-related issue and improve the system performance. So, in case you don’t know how to close the unnecessary tasks on your Windows PC, then follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Firstly, right-click on the Windows Start menu and select the task manager.
  • After that, shift to the processes tab and one-by-one close each task by selecting them and tapping on the End task button.

Do this until you get the main culprit. Also, keep in mind not to touch the application related to your system. Otherwise, I suggest you close everything.

Fix 3: Update Graphics Driver

An older GPU driver may also be the reason behind the poor performance of your system. Therefore, it is very important to keep our drivers updated. Well, not only GPU driver but every driver that is related to performance. Also, make sure to check for OS updates because it is equally important regularly. Anyway, in case you don’t know how to check for GPU driver update, simply follow the steps mentioned below:

  • First of all, right-click on the Windows Start menu and select the Device Manager option from the list.
  • Then, locate and expand the Network Adapter tab.
  • After that, right-click on your GPU manufacturer name and select the Update driver option from the drop-down list.

That’s it. Now, wait until it searches for the update online. But, suppose somehow, by this method, you won’t find any update for your GPU driver. You can simply hover to your GPU manufacturer’s official website and, using your GPU model number, check if there is any new patch update available for your PC or not. If so, then download and install it on your PC manually.

Fix 4: Set To High Power Priority

Power priority is another thing that you need to take care of. By default, the power priority is set to Balanced. But, for heavy games like Ready or Not, it requires to set to the High priority.

  • Firstly, press Windows + R button altogether. This will open the Run box, use it and search for Control to open the control panel.
  • Then, tap on the Hardware and Sound and hover to the Power Options.
  • That’s it. Now, finally, choose the High-Performance option.

Fix 5: Disable SysMain Service on Windows

Many users reported that disabling the SysMain service on their Windows PC helped them to improve their system performance and fix the FPS drop issue. Therefore, you can try this out, and to do so, here are the steps:

  • Firstly, open the Start menu and search for Services.
  • Then, locate and double-click on the SysMain Service. After that, hit the Stop button.
  • Once done, reboot your system and run the Ready or Not game to check if the FPS drops issue gets resolved or not.

Fix 6: Lower Down The In-Game Graphics

If you are playing this game on a lower specs device, then using the high in-game graphics may lead to an FPS drop issue. So, to fix this, make sure to lower down all the in-game graphics settings and try running the game. Now, you will see that the issue gets vanished like magic.
